Janakalyan Shibir West Bengal 2026

Janakalyan Shibir (also known as Jana Kalyan Shibir or JKS) is a major three-day government outreach programme organised by the Government of West Bengal. It aims to deliver multiple Central and State welfare schemes directly to citizens through large-scale single-window camps across the state.

The camps will be held from 15th June to 17th June 2026. This initiative is expected to benefit lakhs of people by enabling on-the-spot applications, document verification, benefit delivery, and grievance redressal.

Objectives of Janakalyan Shibir 2026

  • Bring government services to the doorstep of citizens.
  • Reduce the gap between welfare schemes and eligible beneficiaries.

Camps are being set up at Gram Panchayat and Ward levels. One camp generally covers around 7 Gram Panchayats in rural areas and 10 wards in urban areas. More than 3,000 camps are planned across all districts, including Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
